PMP Exam Cancellation or Rescheduling
In order to cancel or reschedule a PMP CBT examination, the candidate has to inform atleast 48 hours prior to the examination appointment. The candidate has to inform the Prometric and not the local examination site. The candidate can either call them on the number given in the examination scheduling instructions or cancel/reschedule online by visiting the Prometric website.
To cancel or reschedule a PMP PBT examination, the candidate has to e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org atleast 35 days prior to the examination appointment. The mail should include information such as name, PMI identification number, group ID number and the location of the PBT event.
If the candidate fails to comply with the time specifications, the credential fee will be charged and the full re-examination fee has to be paid to schedule another examination.
In case the candidate does not show up for the examination, resulting in a no-show status due to some extenuating circumstance, the candidate has to provide an explanation with documents supporting it within 72 hours of the examination appointment. The extenuating conditions can be medical emergency, military deployment, death/illness in immediate family. The supportng documents can be accident/medical report, death certificate etc. PMI will evaluate the case and if not satisfied, the candidate will be required to request for re-examination and pay the full fee for the same. This is also true if the candidate fails to meet the deadline of 72 hours.
